<p>An initial moderate and clean sweetness is rapidly followed by a mouthful of deep peat notes, with tobacco smoke and strong espresso coffee, which then gives way to treacle sweetness and liquorice.</p>

The Singleton of Dufftown - a richer, smoother tasting, traditionally created single malt from Speyside. This whisky has been slow-distilled and carefully matured for 12 years in a distillery that's been crafting whisky since 1896.

<p>A fine whisky which possesses smooth, soft and lasting flavours of heather, honey sweetness and vanilla followed by deeper citrus-fruit flavours and hints of malted bread. The finish is long, lingering with a surprisingly intense finish that starts sweetly, then gives way to smoke, peat and malt.</p>

<p>Chocolate covered raisins, honeycomb and smooth caramel come to the fore whilst the addition of water exposes a menu of juicy dates and caramelised apricots whose sweetness is offset with hazelnut and walnut oil.
